Tikkun Olam
Work to repair the world is a central part of our congregational life. KI members have a long and rich history of social action - working to directly advance others’ circumstances - and commitments to social justice - understanding and addressing the root causes of injustice in our community and society. Whether you’re drawn to provide food, shelter, or warm clothing, to support a child’s education or an immigrant family’s transition, or to act to change attitudes, practices, and policies that give rise to injustice and inequity, we welcome your commitments and contributions.
Whether ongoing for many years or presently in formation, these efforts are driven and sustained by our members along with our partners in the community. We’re grateful for your involvement, and for your ideas.
As a URJ Brit Olam Congregation, our commitments to social action and social justice are intertwined with our opportunities for learning, personal growth, and support for each other. Learn more about Brit Olam at KI
