Today, hospital care is too often about money and power rather than serving the health needs of the patients and the community. The documentary, “American Hospitals: Fixing a Broken System “, examines the pernicious incentives driving health care’s astronomical pricing, its monopolistic practices, and the pervasive inequities in access and treatment. The film identifies innovative solutions that deserve national attention to restore hospitals to their historic focus on community health at affordable cost.

Vince Mondillo will be joining us for the program.  Vince has created a range of work including television programs, documentaries, museum videos and commercials. He has been a producer and editor on broadcast projects such as the history channel, A&E and the biography channel with Lou Reda Productions.

Over the past few years he has collaborated with Richard Masters, CEO of MCS Industries, the largest picture frame company in the country. Masters started the Unfinished Business Foundation to fund these collaborations which include Fix It, a documentary on the health care industry, Big Pharma, Big Money Agenda and American Hospital.

A light brunch will follow.
