Introduction by Karen Beck-Pooley, a KI congregant and advisor
to Wilberto Sicard at Lehigh University.

Zoom presentation by Wilberto Sicard, a William Allen HS and Lehigh University graduate.

Berto Sicard is a community organizer with the Community Action Committee of the Lehigh Valley, focusing on their Campaign for Racial and Ethnic Justice.

A recent graduate of William Allen High School and Lehigh University, he is developing a racial equity strategic plan for the area. Berto is also serving as the Vice-Chairman of the Lehigh Valley Justice Institute.

He will begin his legal education at Yale Law School in 2021, pursuing a public interest legal career with the aim of utilizing the law in fields ranging from education to criminal justice reform to create better neighborhoods and more opportunities for people from underserved communities.
