With Professor Lewis Gordon 2024 Scholar-in-Residence Weekend March 15th - 17th, 2024
Lewis R. Gordon is an Afro-Jewish philosopher, political thinker, educator, and musician who holds a Ph.D. in philosophy from Yale University. He is currently Professor and Head of the Department of Philosophy at the University of Connecticut. He also serves as the President of the Global Center for Advanced Studies. He founded the Center for Afro-Jewish Studies at Temple University, the only such research center in the world. Professor Gordon has written 18 books and over 400 articles.
